Summer is the perfect time for students to explore new interests and stay engaged in a fun, dynamic environment. Madera Unified School District’s Summer Squad offers hands-on activities that inspire creativity, build essential skills, and make learning exciting. Whether it’s arts, sports, STEM, or outdoor adventures, students enjoy a range of enriching experiences designed to help them grow and thrive. Our program ensures every child makes the most of their summer break, leaving them energized and ready for the next school year—while having fun along the way!
Our summer school programs are open to students from all MUSD schools and are available Monday through Friday throughout the summer term.

Our Summer Squad programs allow students to rotate through a variety of activities including STEM, arts, and other explorations. These activities reinforce academic concepts and help students build skills that last well beyond summer.
Our program’s transportation options make certain that students attending have their journey covered—reliable, safe, and easy!
Our meal offerings are designed to keep students nourished and energized throughout the day, providing a chance to refuel, connect, and get ready for the next adventure.
Camping with the Summer Squad captures the true spirit of summer, giving students an authentic “camp” experience filled with adventure, learning, and enriching fun.
This learning adventure is available to all MUSD students, whether or not they are attending summer school. MUSD offers the After Summer School program to allow your child to stay safe and engaged all through the long summer days, while continuing to enrich their educational experience.
